Great news for Black Stars ahead of AFCON Group C second game against the Panthers of Gabon as ‘Inspirational Captain’ Ayew recovers from injury for the big clash on Friday evening.
Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac stated that his captain, Andre Ayew will be ready for the Black Stars destiny game against Gabon at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday at 7pm.

The 33-year-old Ayew was absent at the team’s second training after their opening group game defeat to Morocco on Wednesday after picking a serious head injury.
The former Swansea City AFC deputy captain trained with the team on Tuesday during the recovery training at the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo Annexe but was excluded from Wednesday’s training for health reasons after the team doctors advise.
At Thursday pre-match conference, Ghana coach, Milovan Rajevac disclosed Ayew will be ready for the clash on Friday.
“Andre Ayew will definitely be ready, but I never talk about my selection before the match”” the coach said.
Ghana must beat Gabon in their second Group C game on Friday to revive their qualification hopes.
