Metz have signed Guinea-Bissau left-back Fali Candé from Portuguese side Portimonense for a fee of €2.5m after his good performances at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The 24-year-old has been in town since yesterday, having returned from international duty while with Guinea-Bissau at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Candé has signed a four and a half-year deal with the Lorraine side, while his former club will receive a 15% cut of a potential future sale.
