Heart of Lions are expected to announce the appointment of a new head coach in the coming days as the club prepares for the upcoming football season.

The Kpando-based side is believed to be finalising arrangements for the appointment, with an official announcement expected once negotiations are completed. The move forms part of the club’s efforts to strengthen its technical team and build a competitive squad capable of challenging for major honours in the new campaign.

The expected coaching change will bring an end to the tenure of Bashir Hayford, who currently leads the team. Hayford guided Heart of Lions through the previous season and played a key role in the club’s development, earning praise for his experience and leadership.

Club officials are yet to disclose the identity of the incoming coach, but expectations are high among supporters as the team looks to build on its recent performances. Fans are hopeful the new manager will bring fresh ideas, strengthen the squad, and position Heart of Lions as strong contenders in the upcoming season.

An official statement from the club is expected in the coming days to confirm the appointment and outline the club’s plans ahead of the new campaign.
