The Board Chairmen of two most successful football teams in Togbe Afedi XIV of Hearts of Oak and Dr. Kwame Kyei of Asante Kotoko SC have both arrived safely in Cameroon ahead of African Super League meeting.
Togbe Afedi XIV and Asante Kotoko’s board chair Dr. Kyei are among the dignitaries invited by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for a meeting in Cameroon on their plans to introduce CAF Super League in 2023.
The governing body has scheduled a meeting with officials of top clubs on the continent to deliberate about the proposed Super League.
The two chairmen of the two most glamorous clubs in Ghana were the only only invitees by CAF and has also been given a VVIP tickets to watch the final of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations between Senegal and Egypt at the Paul Biya Stadium on Sunday.

The African Super League is an annual continental club football competition to be run by the CAF. It was announced on 28th November 2019 by the President of FIFA Gianni Infantino.
The competition is to set apart big clubs in Africa to compete with each other for glory and fame across the continent with the aim of making money.
