Ghana Premier League giant Accra Hearts of Oak SC will be hoping to end the unbeaten run of current league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars FC in Accra.

The Phobians, after losing their first two league games of the season have played five successive games without a defeat heading to the weekend games.

However, the Rainbow Boys have won just two games out of the seven played as they head to week eight of the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League campaign.

With two wins and three draws, the Accra side have nine points out of a possible 21 points and would be hoping to hit the ground running starting with the game against the leaders this weekend at home.

In previous four meetings against the Green and Yellow miners, the Rainbow side have three wins and a defeat in the Premier League and would be hoping to continue with that streak against the leaders.

Gold Stars, on the other hand would be hoping to continue with their unbeaten run this season under coach Frimpong Manso which set up an exhilarating encounter on Sunday afternoon.

Hearts needs the points to come up on the league table while Gold Stars Wil look to cement their place at the top.
