Former Asante Kotoko SC striker Amed Simba Toure believes that Ghana Premier League champions Accra Hearts of Oak are still in the title race despite being 12 points behind the league leaders.
According to the Medeama SC striker, Though the Phobians are not performing but can’t be ruled out of the title race.
He is of the believe that the second round of the 2021-22 season could spring surprises as everything is possible to in football.
He also started that he doesn’t believe Asante Kotoko SC have already won the league as they end the first round on top of the league with 36 points from 16 game.
“Kotoko and Hearts of Oak matches are unpredictable. Its very difficult to predict. The better side carry the day. If you go into the games to do something special, you may be disappointed. You have to take it cool as any other match,” he told Akoma FM.
“Currently Kotoko is the most inform club but anything is possible in the 2nd round but let’s not forget that Hearts were the best side just last season. So anything is possible. I don’t think Kotoko has won the league yet. There are more matches to go.”
