Sampson Eduku, whose contract with Tamale City expired at the conclusion of the 2022/23 football season, has attracted interest from five Ghana Premier League clubs, including Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
The talented forward has become a sought-after player due to his impressive performance last season. In an interview with Community FM, Eduku revealed that he has received offers from five clubs in the domestic top-flight seeking his services.
The battle for Eduku’s signature is heating up, with Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, Nations FC, Medeama, and Dreams FC all vying for his talents.
Eduku acknowledged the interest, stating, “A lot of teams are after me. There were calls during the season seeking my services, but we didn’t pay much attention as the season was not over. Currently, Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, Nations FC, Medeama, Dreams FC, and others have contacted me regarding my services. We are considering offers from the clubs.”
During the recently concluded season, Eduku netted 14 goals for Tamale City, despite their unfortunate relegation.
Previously, Eduku has played for Elmina Sharks, Sekondi Hasaacas, Samartex, Karela United, and Guinea club Club Industrielle de Kamasar.
