The Board of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has reaffirmed its confidence in the club’s technical team and players under the leadership of coach Aboubakar Ouattara.
In a club notice dated September 13, 2024, the board urged Phobians to rally behind the team, believing that the current management and players possess the necessary skills and commitment to succeed.
The notice followed a constructive meeting between the board and the team, where players were encouraged to maintain discipline, competitiveness, and adhere strictly to the instructions of the technical staff. The board emphasized the importance of professionalism and avoiding actions that could harm their careers.
With 33 more Ghana Premier League matches to play, Hearts of Oak is determined to avoid a repeat of last season’s struggles, where they narrowly escaped relegation. Players were reminded to embody the club’s famous “Never Say Die” attitude and approach each game with the required determination.
The board also called on all stakeholders to refrain from negative commentary that could impact the club’s image and to place their trust in the team and management.
As the Phobians prepare for their next league encounter against Heart of Lions on Sunday, the board wished the team well and expressed their full support.
