Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has called on supporters of the club to remain united and continue backing the team despite their recent struggles in the Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians are preparing to host newly-crowned champions Medeama Sporting Club in their final league match of the 2025/26 season at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Hearts of Oak head into the crucial Week 34 encounter on the back of inconsistent form, having managed just one victory in their last five league matches, alongside two defeats and two draws.
Speaking during the club’s pre-match press conference, Didi Dramani emphasized the importance of togetherness between the team and its supporters, insisting that unity will be key in rebuilding a stronger and more competitive Hearts of Oak side.
“Our fans are always the people we love and I hope that they continue to support our dear club and continue to give us their help and align with the principles, philosophies and culture that we want to build around the club so that we can all understand each other at every time,” Dramani said.
The experienced tactician acknowledged that football naturally comes with difficult periods, but stressed that supporters must remain patient and continue rallying behind the team through both positive and challenging moments.
“We know that sometimes the game becomes difficult, sometimes the game becomes very interesting, and that is part of the love of the game. Sometimes there will be challenges, sometimes there will be happiness and sometimes there will be moments where we have to reflect and try to do things in a better way,” he added.
Dramani further noted that every football team experiences weaknesses and setbacks, but Hearts of Oak can only grow stronger if everyone connected to the club works together with a shared vision.
“There will be weaknesses, there will be strengths, there will be challenges but we need to align and fortify together so that we can bring out a comprehensive Hearts of Oak team,” he stressed.
The upcoming fixture against Medeama presents a difficult challenge for the Phobians, with the Tarkwa-based side entering the game in excellent form after winning four of their last five matches and already securing the Ghana Premier League title.
Despite the pressure surrounding the club’s recent performances, Hearts of Oak will be hoping to finish the season on a positive note in front of their supporters at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The clash is expected to attract huge attention as two of Ghana’s biggest clubs battle for a strong finish to the campaign.
