Ghanaian football giants, Hearts of Oak, have announced a change in their preseason plans, moving their training camp from Pobiman to Asutsuare in the Greater Accra Region.
This move comes as the Phobians intensify their preparations for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
Following their recent victory over Heart of Lions in the 2024 Homowo Cup, secured through a penalty shootout, Hearts of Oak is focused on building momentum for the new season. On Thursday, August 14, 2024, the club released a statement confirming the relocation of their preseason activities to Asutsuare.
“The management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club PLC is pleased to bring to the notice of our supporters and stakeholders, the latest updates on our preseason plans and activities as we continue to prepare for the 2024-2025 football season,” the statement read.
The team will spend a week in Asutsuare, where the players will engage in team bonding exercises and intensive training sessions aimed at preparing them for the challenges of the upcoming season.
Upon completing their training at Asutsuare, Head Coach Aboubakar Ouattara and his squad will travel to Lome, Togo, where they will participate in friendly matches to further hone their skills and teamwork ahead of the new campaign.
