Accra Hearts of Oak have paid a glowing tribute to their supporter, former player and Sports Minister Enoch Teye Mensah.
Enoch Teye Mensah died at the age of 77 in South Africa after battling a short illness.
The longest serving Sports Minister in Ghana was announced dead on Sunday, October 1, 2023.
“Our condolences to the family of our former player and former Minister of Sports, Hon. E.T. Mensah, who has been called to glory.”
“Safe journey to your maker. RIP, sir,” a statement from Hearts of Oak cited by sportsworldghana read.
E.T Mensah was also actively involve in helping Hearts of Oak to win treble in 2000.
