Asante Kotoko midfielder Baba Yahaya has predicted a tough game against arch-rivals Hearts of Oak in the upcoming Democracy Cup match.
The two Ghanaian giants will face off on July 5 at the Accra Sports Stadium in the inaugural edition of the tournament organized by Parliament.
According to Baba Yahaya, Hearts of Oak will be seeking revenge after Kotoko’s back-to-back wins over them during the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
He believes that the Accra-based club will come into the match with a wounded mentality, determined to prevent a third defeat.
“We have beaten them twice already, and they will undoubtedly come with a wounded lion’s mentality, determined to prevent a third defeat,” Baba Yahaya told Peace FM.
