Sulley Muntari scored his first ever goal for Hearts of Oak during their 2-1 win over WAFA on Wednesday afternoon at the Accra Sports stadium.
The 37-year old converted a 74th minute penalty to restore Hearts of Oak’s lead against the Academy Boys and the celebration of Muntari sent one clear message about his passion for the game – tapping the Hearts of Oak badge many many times whilst chanting some unheard words.
The left-footed midfielder has not changed at all. He has brought the passion he showed at the San Siro to the Accra sports stadium. Full of energy and vibes.
In all the games he has played for Hearts of Oak , Sulley has always been there in the battles, the 50-50s and sometimes some little chaos like we saw him against Kotoko’s Salifu Mudasiru in the President’s Cup last Friday.
That is the typical Sulley and he has not changed.
