Hearts of Oak midfielder Sulley Muntari has revealed talks with some veteran professional footballers to rejoin the Ghana Premier League.
Hearts of Oak won 2-1 against WAFA during a Week 19 outstanding match with Sulley scoring his first ever goal for the reigning Ghana champions from the spot.
Muntari – a former player of Liberty Professionals – returned to the Ghana Premier League to play for the Phobians following his last spell abroad at Albacete in Spain.
” Yes I have talked to some of them to come back home to play.
Some big names have already done it. You know “Braa” Laryea came back to play, Attram too did it and so it always good” Muntari said after his team’s win against WAFA on Wednesday.
The former AC Milan and Inter Milan midfielder takes delight in passing on his rich football knowledge to young players at Hearts of Oak.
“These kids deserve it. I am happy to be able to help them, pass on my knowledge to them so that we can have a strong and very beautiful Black Stars in the future” he added.
