In demand, French tactician Herve Renard is on the verge of signing for the Pharaohs of Egypt.
A source from the Egyptian federation has revealed that Herve Renard has agreed to be the new head coach for Egypt and negotiations are in an advanced stage.
“The negotiations with Hervé Renard are at an advanced stage and all that remains is to settle the financial details”, revealed KoraPlusEG.
Herve Renard, 55, has been in huge demand from many African countries after the disappointing campaigns in the 2023 AFCON. Ivory Coast, Algeria, Tunisia, Ghana, and Egypt have all shown concrete interest in the French Women’s National team coach.
Herve Renard knows the African terrain extremely well after guiding Zambia and Ivory Coast to AFCON titles in 2012 and 2015 respectively. He also managed Morocco at the 2028 FIFA World Cup.
