The Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani GoldStars, Kwasi Adu, has attributed the team’s impressive form this season to the leadership of coach Frimpong Manso.
Since Manso took over last season from Michael Osei, he has guided the team from a struggling position to an unbeaten run this season, positioning them at the top of the Ghana Premier League.
Coach Manso, who joined GoldStars midway through last season, revamped the squad with strategic signings and addressed key weaknesses, leading the team to a solid 11th-place finish. This season, they have continued their upward trajectory, going undefeated with five wins and three draws after eight matches.
Kwasi Adu expressed admiration for Manso’s influence on the squad, attributing the turnaround to his “dedication, commitment, and resolve to get the best out of his players.” Adu further explained that the decision to change leadership was crucial to improving the team’s dynamics:
“We needed to change the dressing room, especially the head,” he explained. “Coach Michael Osei did great work for us, but it was time for a change. Frimpong Manso understood our challenges, and his impact has been magical, helping us survive and thrive.”
Adu also noted Manso’s recruitment strategy, including signing two key players from Bofoakwa Tano, and highlighted his inclusive approach, which has fostered unity and renewed confidence in the team.
