Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Martin Koopman insists he is not afraid of being sacked from his role at the club.
Recent reports in the media claim that the Phobians are planning to replace the Dutch trainer, however, the club on Saturday came out in a press release to quash those reports and offered their support to the gaffer.
Reacting to the news in a post-match interview with StarTimes after the club’s stalemate with Legon Cities on Sunday, Koopman stated emphatically that he does not scared to be axed even though the club knows he’s the right man for the job.
“I am not afraid of sacking because they know I am the best man to coach the team now”
Hearts of Oak currently are 11th on the Ghana Premier League table after draw with Legon Cities.
In the next matchday, Hearts of Oak will take on Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium.
