Following his move to Sint-Truiden, Ghanaian forward Joselpho Barnes has expressed his excitement and anticipation for the upcoming season.
Barnes, a member of the U-20 AFCON-winning Black Satellites team in 2021, recently signed a two-year contract with the Belgian Pro League side.
Having previously played for FC Riga in Latvia, Barnes showcased his talent by scoring seven goals and providing four assists in just 21 appearances. Now, he is eagerly looking forward to the next chapter of his career with Sint-Truiden.
In response to the move, Barnes shared his enthusiasm, saying, “I am happy to announce that I have signed my new contract with the Belgian Jupiler Pro League club VV ST. Truiden. Happy to be here and can’t wait to score goals in front of you fans.”
Barnes, who grew up in Germany as the son of former Ghanaian international Sebastian Barnes, progressed through the youth academies of Borussia Mönchengladbach, Fortuna Köln, and Schalke 04.
