Italian-born Ghanaian midfielder Joshua Tenkorang has expressed his excitement and pride after securing a loan move to Italian Serie C side FC Lumezzane from US Cremonese.
The 24-year-old midfielder brings valuable experience from his previous stints at Calcio Lecco and Calcio Foggia, where he made 15 appearances across Serie B and Serie C.
His versatility and experience in Italy’s lower leagues make him a strong addition to Lumezzane as they aim for promotion this season.
Reacting to his move, Tenkorang said, “I am very happy to be here. I thank the coach and the director who have placed their trust in me. I already feel very good with my teammates, and I can’t wait to play on Sunday. I was very eager to come here; the atmosphere is excellent, and I am very motivated to win many games. I am a player who really likes to fit in, but the important thing is that the team gets the three points. I expect a challenging season and aim to improve compared to last season.”
Eligible to represent Ghana internationally, Tenkorang’s performances at Lumezzane could bring him closer to earning a call-up to the Black Stars.
