Ghanaian youngster Kamaldeen Sulemana believes his injury has lasted longer than he expected after being out for three months with injury.
Sulemana has been suffering from a serious back injury which has kept him from playing for both club and country since February.
He was in a devastating form for Stade de Rennes this season in the French Ligue 1 before going to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon with the Black Stars.
On his return to club football, the 20-year-old picked up a horrible injury and has been out of the game since February with his return date unknown.
“I didn’t have a problem when I was in Denmark, This injury has lasted longer than expected. It’s a bit of a rollercoaster”, he told the club’s website.
“At the start of the injury, after two weeks, I felt good. I thought I could be back soon. You start running again, you come back to the field, and there you feel the pain. Then you work hard again, you do whatever it takes to come back and the pains come back again,” he added.
