Asante Kotoko coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has acknowledged that he anticipated ridicule during the recently concluded campaign due to his previous exit from the club.
The Porcupine Warriors had a challenging 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, finishing without a trophy and placing 6th on the league table with 49 points after 34 matches.
Narteh Ogum revealed that he was aware of the potential ridicule stemming from his earlier departure from the club, saying “I knew some people would be happy about our losses because of the way I exited” and “I expected some of these reactions.”
The comments come as the club prepares for the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, during which Asante Kotoko has parted ways with 11 players following the end of the season.
