Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC youngster, Clinton Opoku has declared his support to teammate, Richmond Lamptey following his ban by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association.
The youngster took to social media after the ban of his senior colleague to declare his unflinching support to the former Inter Allies FC player.
“I know how strong you are bro. Everything ll be fine. We are with you in this current situation”, he Tweeted.
The GFA after their investigation about the Obuasi Ashantigold SC vs Inter Allies game last season announced on Monday that the Asante Kotoko player, Richmond Lamptey has been given a 30-month ban following his involvement in match manipulation
The 25-year-old box-to-box midfielder was found guilty in the match-fixing scandal that hit Ghana Premier League last season.
