Black Meteors head coach Ibrahim Tanko has talked down the possibility of Mohammed Kudus playing at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament for U23.
“I think Kudus can’t play in U-23 AFCON but we’re looking at inviting good and quality players to come and help us” he said.
The Black Meteors gaffer, Ibrahim Tanko doesn’t believe Kudus can be part of the Black Meteors but will rely on other quality young players.
“If only its a FIFA date. I think it’s the end of the season so we’ll get more of them”, he told the media after the game against Algeria.
Kudus Mohammed is one of the best players in Ghana currently and with his age, calls were made by the public for his inclusion into the Black Meteors setup.
Ghana will play at the 2023 CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in July in Morocco with the aim to qualify for Olympic games in Paris.
