English-born Elijah Adebayo has disclosed his desire to represent the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Born in Brent, England, the 26-year-old Adebayo has been so sensational for the newly promoted side Luton Town in their battle against relegation.

“I would like to represent Nigeria to make my mother proud, that would make my mother happy,” said Adebayo.

The 6 ft 4 in forward has made himself available for the Super Eagles who finished second in the 2023 AFCON. Adebayo disclosed his willingness to make his mother proud as she can’t wait to see her son wear the famous green jersey of Nigeria.

Elijah Adebayo has scored 9 goals in 23 games for Luton Town in the English Premier League.

The towering striker has seen it all after playing in lower tiers of English football for Slough Town, Bognor Regis Town. Adebayo has now reached the pinnacle of English Football as he is dazzling in the English Premier League.
