Ahead of the 2023 CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, Black Meteors head coach Ibrahim Tanko will be faced with the task of reducing his 29-man provisional squad.
Tanko announced the provisional squad on Thursday, June 8, but will need to trim it down in the coming weeks.
Only 21 players will have the opportunity to represent Ghana at the CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The tournament is scheduled to take place in Morocco from June 24 to July 8.
Ghana’s U23 team, the Black Meteors, has been drawn into Group A alongside the host nation Morocco, as well as Guinea and Congo.
