Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Danlad Ibrahim, has revealed his passion for entertainment and joked that he could have become an actor if he hadn’t pursued a football career.
In an interview with Kessben TV at an EP listening event of musician Zack GH in Kumasi, Ibrahim shared his love for making his teammates laugh with his jokes.
He spoke fondly of his friendship with Zack GH, who provided guidance and inspiration to him. Ibrahim acknowledged that sports and entertainment are closely connected, and he sees many of his friends in the entertainment industry.
“Sports is part of entertainment and a lot of them are my friends. Zack GH is my brother. When I first came to Kumasi I was living with him at Oforikrom”
Amusingly, Ibrahim mentioned that if he hadn’t pursued football, he could have become the next Lil Win or Akabenezer, referring to popular actors in Ghana.
“If not for football, I’m very sure I would have gone into acting”. He said.
His humor and cheerful personality add a touch of excitement to the camp, and his comments highlight his desire to bring joy and laughter to those around him.
