Karim Zito, the new head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC, has revealed that he quietly observes many of the club’s online fan platforms but chooses not to comment or interact.
Speaking in an interview, Coach Zito said, “I am in a lot of Kotoko WhatsApp groups, but I don’t talk there. I just watch what is going on.” His quiet presence in these groups shows that he is paying attention to the concerns and opinions of the fans, even if he doesn’t respond directly.
Zito, a well-known and experienced Ghanaian coach, is taking charge of the Porcupine Warriors after a successful spell at Dreams FC. He guided Dreams FC to the group stages of the 2023-24 CAF Confederation Cup, following their victory in the MTN FA Cup.
His calm and observant approach, both online and on the field, suggests that he is focused on understanding the club and its supporters better as he begins his journey with Kotoko. Fans are hopeful that his experience and quiet confidence will bring success to the club in the coming season.
