Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC interim head coach Karim Zito says this is the first time he has been asked to help a team win the league title, and it’s a completely new challenge for him.
“For the first time, I’ve been tasked to see that a team wins the league,” he said. “I’ve saved so many teams from relegation but not to help win the league. It’s a different experience.”
Zito, who recently led Dreams FC to the group stage of the 2023-24 CAF Confederation Cup after winning the MTN FA Cup, is now facing a new kind of pressure. Instead of fighting to avoid relegation, he must now work to bring glory to his new team.
His words show just how different this task is for him, but also how ready he is to take it on. With his strong record and experience, many fans believe he has what it takes to lead his team to success.
