Experienced Ghana Football Administrator, Mr. Fred Pappoe has shown his displeasure about the sharing of FIFA Covid-19 relief funds by the Ghana FA.
According to the Accra Great Olympics Football Club Administrator, the list published by the Ghana FA as the Beneficiaries is quite worrying.
“I don’t want single out one organisation, group or association that doesn’t deserve to be benefiting from the FIFA funds but I believe there are a few out there who deserved to enjoy the from the disbursement of the money by the FA”, he told Accra-based Atinka FM.
Unhappy with the way things were being done by the FA, the outspoken football administrator revealed those he believes deserve to be the real Beneficiaries.
“I believe those who are really suffering are the lower tier sides, for example, Division Two Division Three teams and they have to be on the FA’s list because there’s nothing like sponsorships for their leagues but have contributed to the development of the game “, he stated.
“The amount allocated to Division One teams in my opinion is not sufficient for the clubs in this moment of time and I believe the FA could have given them enough from the FIFA fund”,Pappoe added.
