Ghana legend Sulley Ali Muntari says he’s pleased to here hear the fans say he should be included in the Black Stars team for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
The English FA Cup winner stated how hounered he feels to hear the fans call for his inclusion into the senior national team of Ghana.
But the Accra Hearts of Oak SC kingpin is quick to make it clear about his target for the shot term.
According to him, it is a pleasure for the supporters to be hoping for him to play for Ghana but he’s currently focusing on Hearts of Oak SC.
“I’m pleased to hear the fans call for my inclusion into the Ghana team for the upcoming FIFA World Cup playoffs against Nigeria but for now its all about Hearts of Oak”, he told StarTimes after WAFA game.
Muntari has played in all three World Cups Ghana has participated in and could bring his experience to bear in the Ghana – Nigeria clash this month.
He scored the winner for Hearts to end their four games winning drought.
