Ghanaian wonder-kid Felix Afena Ohene-Gyan says he’s really pleased to sign a new four-year deal with Italy Serie A side AS Roma before the start of the season.
The Ghanaian is expected to go on loan at a fellow Italy Serie A team for the upcoming 2022-23 season in Italy which start in August.
A host of teams have expressed interest in signing the 19-year-old wonder kid on loan from Roma for the upcoming season.
“I am really pleased to have signed this contract: every since I arrived at this club my aim was to reach the first-team and since I did that my life has changed a lot,” Afena-Gyan said.
“Now I need to just concentrate on continuing to improve, I am motived to start the new season in the best possible way.”
Afena-Gyan scored two goals in 17 matches in the 2021-22 Italian top-flight which led to a Ghana debut and a World Cup qualification.
