Right-back Fuseini Issahak is brimming with excitement after successfully completing a move to Asante Kotoko.
The former Tamale Utretch defender has officially joined the Reds, committing to a deal that will keep him in Kumasi until 2026.
At just 20 years old, Issahak, who began his football journey with Tamale Utrecht Football Academy, brings valuable experience from his previous stint in the Ghana Premier League with Real Tamale United last season.
The tough-tackling full-back demonstrated his skill and potential while playing for the Pride of the North, amassing 14 appearances across various competitions and earning the Man of the Match accolade on two occasions.
Having already featured in pre-season friendlies for Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum’s team, Issahak is the second addition to bolster the right-back position for Kotoko, following the earlier arrival of Samuel Asamoah.
“I’m very excited to be part of one of the best clubs in Africa, and I say Ahamdulliah,” Issahak tells asantekotokosc.com
“For me, it’s a dream come true, and I can’t wait to get started,” he added enthusiastically.
