Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Jeremie Frimpong has been named in the German Bundesliga Team-Of-The-Week for round three.
The defender dazzled for Xabi Alfonso’s team as they walloped newly promoted team SV Darmstadt 98 at the Bay Arena.
Frimpong, who’s still eligible to play for either of Ghana and the Netherlands provided two assists in the team’s 5-1 win to hop of the Bundesliga with nine points.
With arating of 8.8, the 21-year-old fleet footed right-back walked majestically into the team of the week in Germany with ease.
