Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil will not feature on Sunday when Genk host Gent at the Cegeka Arena.
Paintsil had a knock in the win over Seraing last week and he has to sit out in order to fully recover.
“Aziz Ouatarra will take Paintsil’s place in the game against Gent,” Vrancken stated at the press conference ahead of the game
“He won’t be gone for very long. Paintsil himself indicates that it is going well and the international break is coming. So that brings him extra peace of mind to fully recover.”
Paintsil has been in top form for Genk this season netting four goals in seven Jupiler Pro League games.
