Jonah Kusi-Asare, a talented teenager of Swedish-Ghanaian descent, has attracted the attention of top European clubs, including Bayern Munich, Juventus, and Inter Milan, owing to his promising abilities as an emerging youth star.
At the age of 15, Kusi-Asare, a center-forward, recently made a move from IF Brommapojkarna Jugend to AlK Academy ahead of the upcoming season. His impressive performances in the youth team have caught the eye of scouts and pundits alike, with many predicting a bright future for the young talent.
Despite the interest from prominent European clubs, the teenager remains focused on his immediate goals and sees his future firmly rooted with AIK. Kusi-Asare is determined to sign his first professional contract with AIK and make a mark in the highly competitive Allsvenskan division.
He expressed his appreciation for the attention he has received, stating, “It’s nice to hear. It’s good to know that they are aware of my abilities. Playing abroad has always been a dream of mine. When I hear that these clubs are interested in me and want me, it brings me joy.” He added, “My aim is to progress to the first team and sign a contract at that level.”
Kusi-Asare comes from a footballing background, as his father, Jones Kusi-Asare, is a retired footballer who represented the Swedish U21 national youth team.
Despite playing for the Swedish U16 national youth team, Jonah remains eligible to play for Ghana on the international stage, showcasing his dual nationality and potential options for his future career.
