Aduana FC General Manager Takyi Arhin ‘Thunder’ believes former Ghana captain André Ayew would benefit more from investing in businesses in his hometown than pursuing the Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidency.
The football administrator suggested that Ayew should consider ventures such as goat farming in Paga, where he hails from, instead of entering the competitive world of football administration.
Speaking on Space FM 87.7 MHz in Sunyani, Takyi Arhin argued that success in football leadership requires strong relationships and administrative experience.
“Football is about relationships,” he said, while sharing his views on Ayew’s potential involvement in Ghana football governance.
Takyi Arhin, who also serves as the Chairperson of the Black Princesses Management Committee, believes the former Black Stars captain can create a lasting impact through investments and development projects in his community.
Ayew, Ghana’s most capped player and a former captain of the national team, has not publicly confirmed any ambition to contest for the GFA presidency. However, his name has been mentioned among personalities who could have a future role in Ghana football administration.
