Israeli Premier League club FC Ashdod has secured the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyei from Dreams FC.
The 19-year-old has signed a five-year contract following successful negotiations and medical tests. FC Ashdod officially announced the transfer on their Facebook page.
The club’s statement reads: “We hereby confirm the transfer of Emmanuel Agyei to Ashdod FC. The midfielder signed a contract on Thursday to complete the move to the Israeli side after passing a medical. Dreams FC thanks Emmanuel Agyei for his years of dedicated service and wishes him the best.”
Agyei, known for his talent and strength, made 73 top-flight appearances for Dreams FC and is eager to bring his energy and skills to his new team.
The Black Satellites midfielder is expected to add stability to the Ashdod squad as they aim for an improved performance in the new season.
Agyei could make his debut for FC Ashdod in their upcoming match against Beitar Jerusalem on Sunday, August 25.
