‘It feels like home here’ – Ghana’s Tariq Lamptey talks about life as a Black Stars player

Ghanaian defender Tariq Lamptey says he’s enjoying life at the camp of Black Stars as he prepares with the rest of the team ahead of the 2022 FIFA Pre-World Friendlies.

According to him, it feels like home to be playing around and training with his national team teammates ahead of Brazil, Nicaragua friendlies.

He received his first Ghana call-up after ditching the Three Lions of England to represent Ghana and play for the Black Stars team.

“So so good. I’m very proud to be here and I’m just trying to train hard to give the best I can to the team and looking forward to the game on Friday.

” It feels like home here”, he said in his first interview as Black Stars player.

He’s expected to make his debut when Ghana takes on Brazil on Friday, September 23, 2022 and Nicaragua on Tuesday evening, September 27,2022.
