Ghanaian newbie Tariq Lamptey has spoken for the first time as a Ghana player ahead of the 2022 Pre-World game on Friday.

The Brighton and Hove Albion youngster took part in his first training session as a member of the Black Stars squad ahead of Brazil’s game on Friday.

He expressed how excited it feels to be playing for his home Nation at the senior level of international football after snubbing England for Ghana.

He spoke fondly of his teammates after his first ever training with the players as they prepare Brazil on Friday evening.

He recently switched his allegiance from England to Ghana ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

After successfully carrying out the switch, he has joined the squad to train ahead of the friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua.
