Ghana Premier League giant Accra Hearts of Oak coach SC head coach Slavko Matic pleased with his team ahead of the return of the League.
Hearts of Oak suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Black Galaxies in a friendly on Sunday at the Ghanaman soccer of excellence in Prampram.
The Phobians lost 2-1 with most of his key players in the home-based national team including captain, Gladson Awako, Suraj Seidu, Dennis Nkrumah Korsah, Mohammed Alhassan and Konadu Yiadom.
Hearts of Oak took an early lead through Amankwah Baafi but the Black Galaxies recovered to beat the Phobians with goals from David Abagna Sandan and Bright Adjei of Aduana Stars FC.
“It was a good exercise for the team. We will continue to prepare for the task ahead. That’s where our focus is now. I wish the Black Galaxies all the best in the CHAN tournament,” he said after the game.
