Hafiz Konkoni, formerly of Bechem United, is determined to return to the Ghana Premier League to fulfill his aspirations, stating that he has unfinished business in the league.
Konkoni made a notable move from Bechem United to Tanzanian giants, Young Africans, during the last transfer window after an impressive showing in the Ghana Premier League. His performance even earned him a call-up to the Ghanaian national soccer team, the Black Stars.
Since his transition to the Tanzanian club, Konkoni has already scored two goals for them. Speaking with Bryt FM in Koforidua, the forward expressed his desire to return to the Ghanaian top-flight to complete his objectives.
While he acknowledged that returning to Ghana might not be easy at the moment, he stressed that his dream is to play for one of the country’s biggest clubs, such as Kotoko or Hearts of Oak. He expressed his determination to fulfill that dream and conveyed his hope for an opportunity to return to the Ghana Premier League in the future, with a firm belief in making it happen.
“It will be difficult for me to return to Ghana at the moment but I have an unfinished business in the Ghana Premier League, which I would love to accomplish one day”
“My dream is to play for one of the biggest clubs in Ghana (Kotoko and Hearts of Oak) and I want to fulfil that dream. I’m still praying about it, if I get the opportunity to return to Ghana, I will play one of those teams. Isha Allah, I will return to the Ghana Premier League again to accomplish my aim” he said.
Hafiz Konkoni was a sought-after transfer target for both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in the last transfer window. However, the Tanzanian club outbid them and secured his signature.
