Greece Super League side PAOK Thessaloniki defender Baba Abdul Rahman is anticipating a tough encounter between his team and Scottish side Aberdeen FC.
The two teams will square off at the home grounds of the Black and Whites Eagles this Thursday at 5:45pm in the fourth round of games in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Despite having nine points to Aberdeen’s one, the Ghanaian international believes it is a game that could go a long way to determine both teams fate in the competition.
“It’s a do or die game for both of us. Our fans will play a big role in tomorrow’s game and will make it even more difficult for Aberdeen”, he told the press.
Thessaloniki are top of the group C in the UEFA Europa Conference League with three wins out of the first three group games with nine points to their name.
Baba Rahman has been very consistent for the club since joining from English Premier League giant Chelsea FC this summer on a free transfer after he left the Blues.
With at least a draw against the Scottish Premier League team, the Greeks would make it to the knockout stages with two games to spare and would have to only battle German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt for top spot in the group.
