Abednego Tetteh, the striker for Bibiani Goldstars, has expressed his gratitude towards his Creator, teammates, and the club’s technical team for their support in helping him secure the Ghana Premier League goal-scoring title.
After facing challenges during his time with Hearts of Oak, which led to the termination of his contract in August 2021, Tetteh found success with Bibiani Goldstars, scoring an impressive 18 goals to claim the top-scorer prize in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.
Tetteh played a vital role in Bibiani Goldstars’ fifth-place finish in the recently concluded domestic top-flight season, where they accumulated 49 points.
During an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM, Tetteh expressed his gratitude to God and his teammates for their support in helping him achieve the goal-scoring title.
When asked about his feelings regarding winning the goal-scoring title, Tetteh humbly responded, “It’s a normal feeling. When you achieve the desired result like this, you give thanks to God. The most important thing is to express my gratitude to God, my coaches, and my teammates for assisting me in accomplishing this feat. The celebrations are over, and we are now focused on the upcoming season.”
While there have been speculations linking Tetteh to Asante Kotoko, no official announcements have been made regarding his future at this time.
