Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah has described today, Tuesday, January 18 as Black Stars ahead of AFCON 2021 group C last game against Comoros.
The Columbus Crew SC captain is highly optimistic about Ghana’s chances against the minnows as search for their first win of the ongoing TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon.
Ghana were beaten just over a week ago in their first AFCON 2021 game against the Atlas Lions of Morocco.
The Black Stars again failed to win against the Panthers of Gabon in their second group game leaving them on just one point from two games.
Ghana is on the brink of elimination from the tournament and could exit the competition even if they beat Comoros and results from other matches doesn’t go in their favour.
“It’s Ghana Black Stars Day. It’s show time and we will shine brightly today for the nation of Ghana. For God and country”, he Tweeted.
