Ghanaian sensation Mohammed Kudus emphasized the significance of West Ham United’s early goal in their triumphant clash against SC Freiburg in the Europa League.

Taking the field for the English Premier League side in the Group A finale on Thursday night at the London Stadium, Kudus showcased his prowess by scoring in the 14th minute, courtesy of an assist from Edson Alvarez. The early lead set the tone for West Ham’s performance.

Edson Alvarez extended West Ham’s advantage, finding the net in the 42nd minute, securing a 2-0 victory over SC Freiburg.

In his post-match remarks, Mohammed Kudus acknowledged the challenging nature of the game but highlighted West Ham’s preparedness. He pointed out that securing goals in the first half played a pivotal role in clinching the win.

“We knew they would come in strong, but we were also prepared, so it’s good we got the goals early. We now focus on the next game,” said Mohammed Kudus.
