Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo was on the score sheet again for Manchester City to further underline his brilliant start to life at the Etihad Stadium.
After joining Man City from English Premier League rivals AFC Bournemouth just a month ago, the 26 year old has scored five goals with two assists in eight games in all competitions.
The Black Stars player scored and provided an assist in Man City’s 3-0 win over Fulham to cut Arsenal’s lead over Pep Guardiola’s men to three points ahead of Arsenal’s clash against Brentford on Thursday, February 12.
Speaking to TNT Sports after the game, Semenyo described his excellent start to his Man City career as a “fairytale”.
“[There’s] no secrets! It’s just being part of a great team, a great environment, the coach has been great and they’ve made it easy for me to settle. It’s all a fairytale right now” he said.
Semenyo’s Man City next take on Salford City in the FA Cup on Saturday, February 14 in the fourth round.
