Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association Bernhard Lippert was left satisfied by the performance of the Black Stars in the goalless draw against Nigeria last Friday as he rates it as one of the best Ghana performances of the last one year.
Otto Addo oversaw his first match as Ghana head coach in the 0-0 draw against the Super Eagles during the first leg of the FIFA World Cup qualification play – offs.
The second leg takes place on Tuesday in Abuja but one person who was in awe with the performance of the Ghana team is Lippert.
“I saw a positive game from the team. It was one of the best games in the last year” Bernhard Lippert said on Akoma FM.
“There was lot of passion but we could not score. But this gives us a lot of hope that we can beat Nigeria on Tuesday and qualify” Lippert sounded positive.
“I think if we show the same passion as we did on Friday I am very confident that we can qualify” he concluded.
