The Ghana Football Association has officially approved the request from the Kufuor Foundation to organize the Kufuor Cup, a match honoring former President John Agyekum Kufuor.
The special football event, marking the 85th birthday anniversary of His Excellency John Agyekum Kufuor, will feature a clash between Asante Kotoko and Premier League side Nsoatreman FC.
Following a letter from the John Agyekum Kufuor Foundation, the Ghana Football Association granted the request, scheduling the Kufuor Cup to take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 3 pm.
His Excellency John Agyekum Kufuor served as the President of Ghana from January 7, 2001, to January 6, 2009.
