FC Samartex 1996 has officially announced the conclusion of James Sewornu’s loan spell at the club following the conclusion of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
The 23-year-old player, who joined the Samreboi-based team for their debut Premier League campaign, will be returning to his parent club as his loan agreement has expired.
Sewornu played a crucial role as a central defender for FC Samartex, becoming a stalwart in their defense during their maiden Premiership season. His contributions helped the team secure a 10th-place finish with 46 points.
In a statement, FC Samartex 1996 bid farewell to James Sewornu, expressing gratitude for his exceptional commitment, passion, and impressive performances as their central defender throughout the duration of his loan spell.
