He wwas among the goal scorers in many of the matches for his team who finished second on the league table after the Playoffs of the 2022-23 Belgium Jupiler Pro League.
He scored fourteen goals and provided fourteen assists during the regular season in 30 games and was one of the most important players in the league attracting interest from other big clubs across Europe.
Paintsil scored one goal in the Belgium Cup competition and bagged three goals in six playoffs games for the Blue and Whites outfit.
After 18 goals and 15 assists in the 2022-23 campaign, the young man has been rewarded with a spot in the Team-Of-The-Season following a wonderfulness campaign with the Blue and Whites outfit.
He’s recently been linked with a move to English Premier League side Arsenal FC as the transfer window opens officially on Friday.
